When you think about it, unlike many organizations, Christ Hospital which is situated in New Jersey has stood by its mission statement, which is to provide care and medical help for all who seek this aid from the hospital, regardless of creed, race or national origin. This hospital does not pick who to treat, but treats everyone who will walk through its doors.

From the very beginning, Christ Hospital took a very radical approach, which probably caused them some grief in the beginning. You see, it is affiliated with religious faiths, and followers of these faiths may not have been too amused to see Heathen walk through the doors and get the same treatment they were getting. The approach was simple, to provide great care to their patients and to serve the community and the neighborhoods surrounding the hospital. All patients here receive the same degree of care from the medical staff.

Christ Hospital also has two schools that are affiliated to it. The hospital also has a reputed nursing school that is one of the oldest nursing schools in New Jersey. There other school is a radiological School that was started close to forty years ago. The great thing about having schools attached to hospitals is the trainee staff get to learn with some of the best in their fields, while for the patients, the cost of medical care probably is lowered considerably.

The hospital staff also provides medical cares to those who need it and are fluent in forty languages which make’s it easier for them to talk immigrant families that come to the hospital. They also conduct home visits, both treating and following up on patients who had previously been at the hospital.
