Learning is a continuous process. It is also not that a child only gets the chance of leaning from conventional education given in the schools. A child learns more from his/her surroundings in the natural flow of life. Then after a certain age the provision of school education is opened for them and a systematic way of imparting education is thereafter implied. This is the process we have known for ages.

Nowadays the mode of imparting education has been given a novel shape with the advent of modern technologies. The basis is the same where as the approach differs. Online education is one such mode, which has propelled through immense popularity in the last decade and at present has taken the shape of one of the most convenient ways of learning.

There are different modes of online education. Among them the online school education is a unique medium to arrange for a school right at home and educate your child in the best, latest and fastest possible way. Again the home online school education may be complementary to conventional school education and help the student with extra knowledge and precise understanding of the course and curriculum without any wastage of time and energy. The only reason is you can access everything just sitting from your home.

Concept of internet classroom

Online school education from home is entirely depended on the internet classrooms. Anyone can who is eligible to be a part of the curriculum can become the student of the class irrespective of the location he/she resides in. A virtual setup is developed and students from any corner of the globe who has the facility of internet connection at home can become the student of such online schools.

The selection of subjects has been designed on the basis of modern education system with a global outlook. The interesting factor is that the whole world is converged through this process and children get united in a form and join hands to work and explore knowledge and wisdom. As such there is no hurdle except for the noisy classroom session when the teacher is not in as in case of a real classroom structure.

With the growing popularity of online dating as a valid, fun and useful way to meet people, La Trobe University’s School of Public Health and the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society are conducting a project to find out about the experiences of young adults who use online dating. In particular they’re looking to interview people between the ages of 18 and 30.

This project grew out of a smaller study conducted by one of the researchers, Danielle Couch, when she was studying and using online dating herself:

‘I’d used various online dating sites to meet people and had my own little processes for making my way through the online dating world. I’d send a wink or a kiss, maybe we’d correspond via a few emails or chat online for a while. Then if we decided to meet face to face I’d want to think about when and where that would be. I started wondering if other people followed the same kind of routine or did they do things differently. So I started developing a research idea.

The outcome of Danielle’s ponderings was a small research project as part of her post-graduate studies. She interviewed 15 people online, using chat. In the interviews the participants chatted online about their own online dating experiences, what they did and didn’t do to manage risk, how many people they’d met, how many people they’d had sex with through online dating, did they take safety precautions, were they into safe sex and how did it all compare to meeting people in other ways.

Working in public health, I knew there’d been some research in the US looking at the relationship between online dating and the spread of sexually transmitted infections  – how the internet can let you meet people quickly and how it could be an efficient way to access casual sex partners and potentially spread infection. I wondered was this relevant in Australia? Did other online daters think about this stuff? Was it any different to going out and picking someone up in a bar on the weekend?’

The interviews ranged from 30 minutes to 3 hours in duration, depending on what each person wanted to share and what else they were doing at the time.

One of the things about interviewing people online is that you have to recognise they’re probably multi-tasking. We all do it when we’re online. So I knew when I was chatting with people I was one of several things they might be doing – that’s just the reality of being online. I had one memorable interview where a participant was in four other dating related chats and also watching some sexually explicit webcam action. I remember her apologising to me at one stage as she was a bit slow in responding to one of my questions as she was getting distracted by the web-cam show.

The general consensus was the people interviewed enjoyed the process; in fact several interviewees would often update Danielle via chat on their most recent experiences as they wanted these included in the project.

The findings from this earlier study have led to the current project. Over the next few months the researchers are looking to interview between 30 and 40 people via chat about their online dating experiences. When you go to the Internet to do a Google search you will come up with several thousand answers to your online education Universities request. One reason for doing a wide search like this is to find more than one accredited college that offers complete Internet programs. Most of the colleges and schools today are offering more and more programs with complete Internet tuition to make it easier for students. There are also schools that offer certificates that are not accredited. While the information is valid and helpful to you getting your career started, accredited schools and colleges are not going to recognize these courses. This may matter later down the road when you are seeking a degree program for your career.

When you are choosing online education universities you will want to make sure it is accredited just in case you wish to return to school later on for a different degree or a higher level of degree. This is where your first option is going to come in. Your second option is going to be whether the Internet College has the degree program you are interested in. Right now most Internet tuition centers are on technology, business, healthcare, education, and sometimes law.

Once you have found the Internet tuition programs you are looking for at the colleges, you will want to apply to at least three of them. Most often you will be accepted to all of them if you have the proper requirements for those colleges, such as GPA, SAT scores and the like. At this point you will be able to choose the online education university that you want. This could be based on your financial resources, if they have a campus near you, and whether you like the technology they use for your online degree program.
